Former Man City boss confirmed as new Galatasaray boss

Turkish giants Galatasaray have confirmed Roberto Mancini as their new head coach.

The former Inter Milan and Manchester City boss has signed a three-year contract with the Turkish side.

"Galatasaray have reached a three-year deal with Roberto Mancini beginning with the 2013-14 season," Galatasaray posted on their official Twitter account.

Mancini had been without a job since being sacked by Manchester City in May.

"I'm very proud to have come to a club as big as Galatasaray," Mancini said.

"It's different. I've made the right decision and I've come to a huge club. The Juventus-Galatasaray clash is a happy coincidence for me."
