Spurs striker close in on Besiktas move
Turkish side Besiktas are set to renew their interest in Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Daily Star reports that Besiktas could offer Adebayor an escape route out of Spurs in January.
Adebayor has been frozen out at White Hart Lane by manager Andre Villas-Boas and it is believed the striker is keen on leaving the club.
Besiktas has confirmed that they plan to make a move for Adebayor.
"We were interested in Adebayor in August. The club will chase Adebayor again in January, but it is difficult to recruit such a player," Besiktas vice president Ahmet Nur Cebi told Besiktas TV.
