Italian Football president praise Roma police

Italian Football Federation president Giancarlo Abete heaped praise on the action of police in the Champions League clash between Manchester United and Roma last night.

He said: "We owe gratitude to our law enforcers and I don't believe those who try to make games safe can be crucified in this manner.

"I was not present at the Stadio Olimpico... but I will follow the matter closely."

I'm a Boro fan, and I must say I hate Italian police. Italy should be banned from hosting any football events the next 10 years.. just remember when we visited Roma.
