Aberdeen trio sign new deals
Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield, striker Jonny Hayes and young midfielder Peter Pawlett have signed new deals with the club.
Langfield and Hayes have signed new deals that will keep him with the Dons until the summer of 2016.
Pawlett has signed a contract that will keep him at Aberdeen until 2017.
"These lads want to win something with Aberdeen, make no mistake about that," Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes he told the club's website.
"They did not take much persuading to continue their careers here. All three are very important to the club and will have signficant roles to perform in the months ahead.
"We have made a decent start to the season but are far from the finished article and it's important to keep your best players.
"Knowing Jamie, Johnny and Peter have committed to the long-term enables us to have continuity going forward and, in the short term, gives everyone a lift ahead of the weekend trip to Celtic."
