Juventus and Atletico Madrid keen on Chelsea star

Juventus and Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Spain international Juan Mata from Chelsea in January.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Mata could leave Chelsea on loan in January, as the midfielder fears for his World Cup chances.

Juventus and Atletico Madrid are keen to bring in the midfielder on loan in January.

Mata is desperate for regular first-team football and is ready to speak to both manager Jose Mourinho and technical director Michael Emenalo about his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old has been named as Chelsea's player of the year for the past two seasons, but has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following Mourinho's return to the club.
