Roma veteran Panucci: Revenge is on our mind

Roma veteran Christian Panucci admits they want revenge ahead of Sunday's clash against local rivals Lazio.

Panucci said: "We are preparing for this match well, it is very important for the entire group. First of all, we want to make up for the defeat in December.

"Then a win would be the icing on the cake as it would allow us to confirm second place on the table.

"We are ahead of Lazio, but the derby is a special match and sometimes unexpected things happen.

"As for the future, we have to be ambitious. Although Inter are stronger than us and Milan also plan to strengthen their squad.

"We have to build a team which can compete for the Scudetto. This year we feel much stronger than the past."
