AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has admitted that he was out of order when he headbutted assistant Spurs coach Joe Jordan last night.

Gattuso clashed with Jordan following the final whistle in Spurs' 1-0 victory at AC Milan.

"I lost control," Gattuso told reporters. "There is no excuse for what I have done. I take my responsibilities for that.

"I was nervous. I didn't want to argue with players and I did it with him, but I was wrong to do what I have done."
