Wigan make bid for Rennes striker

Wigan Athletic have reportedly made an move for £700,000-rated Dutch striker John Verhoek.

The Daily Star reports that Verhoek has impressed Latics boss Roberto Martinez.

Verhoek is currently on loan at ADO Den Haag from French side Rennes.
