Chelsea make £1m bid for Nottingham starlet

Chelsea have reportedly made a £1million offer for Nottingham Forest starlet Patrick Bamford.

The fee Chelsea have offered for the 18-year-old could rise to £1.5million, dependent on appearances.

Bamford has scored nine goals in Nottingham's last two academy matches.

The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen to bring in the youngster in January.
