Sunderland are reportedly ready to make a move for Manchester City winger Adam Johnson.

The Journal reports that the Black Cats are keen to bring in the winger on a loan deal.

Sunderland will struggle to match Johnson's City wages, but they are refusing to give up on signing the winger.
