Newcastle Utd set to sign Ajax star

Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Ajax over the signing of midfielder Vurnon Anita, according to reports.

The Magpies have long been linked with the highly-rated Dutch international midfielder.

Reports claim Ajax have accepted an bid of around £6.2million for the midfielder.

The 23-year-old is expected to fly to England on Monday to undergo a medical.
