Wigan closing in on Arsenal star

Wigan are reportedly closing in on the signing of Japan international Ryo Miyaichi from Arsenal.

The Daily Mail reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to send Miyaichi out on a season long loan at Wigan.

Miyaichi joined the Gunners in 2010, but has failed to make the expected impact at the Emirates.
