Fulham make £6.5m bid for Lyon striker

Fulham have reportedly made a £6.5million bid for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.

But the Daily Mail reports that Fulham face competition from Italian giants AC Milan in the race to sign Gomis.

Fulham boss Martin Jol is keen on signing Gomis after failing with his attempt to sign Genk's Christian Benteke.

Gomis has previously been linked with a move to Newcastle.
