Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that Maicon could leave the club before the transfer window closes.

Macion has recently been strongly linked with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid.

"As for Maicon, the situation was already clear from the start," said Stramaccioni. "We won't be caught unprepared, as we have Javier Zanetti and Jonathan.

"Obviously Maicon has unique characteristics and we'll see what happens up to the transfer window. If he stays, we will all be happy."
