Liverpool are reportedly not expected to make any signings before the transfer window deadline.

Sky Sports reports that the Reds are not expected to sign any new players after having failed with a move for Fulham star Clint Dempsey.

Liverpool offered England international Jordan Henderson as part of the deal to sign Dempsey, but Fulham rejected the bid.

Liverpool were also linked with a move for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
