US get revenge against Jamaica

The United States beat Jamaica 1-0 to avenge their defeat by the same opponents days ago in World Cup qualifying.

The 2-1 defeat to Jamaica at the weekend was a major blow for the Americans' hopes of qualifying for Brazil 2014.

Herculez Gomez fired home a free kick early on in the second half to seal the victory and draw level with Jamaica at the top of their qualifying section.
