Atletico Mineiro thrashed Figueirense 6-0 to keep the pressure on Fluminense at the top of the Brazilian championship.

Flu' beat Rio rivals Botafogo 1-0 to remain six points clear, but a Ronaldinho hat trick inspired second placed Atletico.

Elsewhere, Palmeiras' relegation worries continue after they lost 3-0 to Sao Paulo in another derby.
