Claudio Fenucci, the club's general manager, made the comments over the weekend despite a mixed start to the season.

“We have already said this week that our Coach is not up for debate,” Fenucci told Sky Sport Italia.

“The squad is made up of strong players and they can improve with work. I think our Coach is working on the defensive approach with the whole team to perfect the movements."
