Emmanuel Adebayor could take on his former team Manchester City today, says his manager Andre Villas Boas.

Adebayor returns to the Etihad Stadium for the first time since completing a permanent transfer to Tottenham this afternoon.

"For sure we take that into account," said Villas Boas. "Revolt and motivation are always factors that I keep on speaking about but I'm still to make my decision on the starting XI."
