Fred is hopeful of winning a recall to the Brazil squad as he looks to compete at the World Cup in 2014.

The former Lyon forward has not been in Mano Menezes' plans, but after guiding Fluminense to the Brazilian title he is hopeful of another chance.

"To play a World Cup and Confederations Cup at home is every player's dream so I hope to earn another chance, maybe even at the beginning of next year," said Fred.
