Roberto di Matteo has been fired as coach of Chelsea after the 3-0 defeat to Juventus last night.

Di Matteo had been walking a tightrope after a few poor results in the league.

Still, it is a remarkable turn of events given that di Matteo won the Champions League and FA Cup during his eight months in charge.
