Marseille keep pace in Ligue 1

Marseille beat St Etienne 1-0 on Sunday night to keep pace with Paris St Germain and Lyon at the top of the table.

Les Phoceens won thanks to a strike from Andre Ayew at the end of the first half.

They are now level on 38 points with Lyon and Paris St Germain, who lead the table on goal difference going into the winter break.
