Andre Villas Boas has said it is unlikely that Tottenham will sign Internacional's Leandro Damiao.

Spurs have been linked with the Brazilian forward, particularly as Emmanuel Adebayor is off on African Cup of Nations duty.

The Tottenham coach told the BBC: "Leandro is a player that we have always appreciated at this club [but] it is extremely unlikely that he will play for Tottenham."
