Valdes won't renew Barcelona contract

Victor Valdes will leave Barcelona when his contract expires in 2014, it has been confirmed.

The Catalan has been one of the key La Masia graduates who has guided the club to success in recent years.

However the player has stunned the club by rejecting the offer to discuss a new deal beyond 2014.
