Ivory Coast through, Algeria out

The Ivory Coast are the first team through to the last eight of the African Cup of Nations, and Algeria the first to be eliminated.

The Ivory Coast, tournament favourites, defeated Tunisia 3-0 on Saturday to book their last eight place.

Algeria's 2-0 reverse against Togo meant that they will make an early exit.
