Gibbs out for three weeks

Kieran Gibbs will be out for three weeks with a thigh injury, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

Gibbs limped off in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Liverpool last night, leaving his team short in that position.

"Of course it's a blow for us," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

"He is important for us going forward and the game we want to play."
