Franck Ribery has said that Bayern Munich would not be scared to take on Barcelona in the Champions League this season.

Bayern are all but in the last eight after winning 3-1 at Arsenal on Tuesday, whilst Barcelona lost 2-0 to AC Milan.

“I think this is the best Bayern side I've played in,” he told Bild. “Barcelona are a different team with a different template to us.

“But we no longer have to hide from them. I honestly would not mind facing them in the quarter-finals.”
