Andre Villas Boas has hailed the influence of Gareth Bale after he scored yet again to win a game for Tottenham.

Bale has scored eight times in six games after hitting the winner last night against West Ham in the last minute.

"He inspires people and he is a direct influence on every single player," said Villas-Boas. "Players like this take responsibility at key moments, he is tremendous."
