Reading star to miss rest of season

Reading striker Jason Roberts is set to miss the rest of the season with a hip injury.

The 35-year-old, who has not featured for Reading since December, needs surgery to resolve a his hip injury.

He Tweeted: "Rehabilitation has not been successful. [It] seems at this point surgery is our only option meaning my season is over.

"Everything that could have been done has been done."
