Niang wants to be better than Messi

M’Baye Niang has set his sights on improving at AC Milan and becoming a better player than Leo Messi.

That lofty ambition may seem fanciful, but Niang is determined to achieve it.

“Milan are a great team that have won everything,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “For a young player, it is an honour to be part of this club.

“Now I just want to repay the trust people have shown in me. I want to work to become the best in the world. I always think about the Ballon d’Or. It’s my goal to win that. I want to become stronger than Messi.”
