Nice-Lyon game put back 24 hours

Nice’s huge Ligue 1 clash with Lyon has been postponed 24 hours because of heavy rain.

The conditions in the south of France forced the postponement of the game for a day. Nice are three points behind third place Lyon and need a win to keep themselves in with a chance of Champions League qualification.

“Because of unfavourable weather conditions, the Nice v Lyon game on Saturday May 18 has been postponed to Sunday at 1500 (1300 GMT),” Nice said on their website (www.ogcnice.com).
