The Sunday Telegraph reports that the French giants plan to test Chelsea’s resolve to keep Mata.
Chelsea are expected to keep the 25-year-old at Stamford Bridge, but manager Jose Mourinho could be tempted to sell the midfielder in order to bring in a new striker.
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is also keen on signing Mata, but it is unlikely that Chelsea will sell to a rival Premier League club.
