PSG join Spurs in chase for Chelsea star

Paris St-Germain are reportedly planning to make a move for Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata in January.

The Sunday Telegraph reports that the French giants plan to test Chelsea’s resolve to keep Mata.

Chelsea are expected to keep the 25-year-old at Stamford Bridge, but manager Jose Mourinho could be tempted to sell the midfielder in order to bring in a new striker.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is also keen on signing Mata, but it is unlikely that Chelsea will sell to a rival Premier League club.
