Bayern will pay €5.5million for Rafinha, who is set to undergo a medical on Monday.
Rafinha joined Italian side Genoa in a €9million deal last summer from Schalke, but is keen on a return to the Bundesliga.
“The player prefers the German championship to the Italian championship. He wants to go back to Germany and he confirmed as much in a recent interview too. I think we’ll reach an agreement with a big Bundesliga outfit,” Genoa president Enrico Preziosi recently told Radio Radio.
