Ranieri speaks up Falcao move

Claudio Ranieri has said he would love Monaco to sign Radamel Falcao for next season.

The Italian coach appears excited by the prospect of the newly promoted Ligue 1 outfit signing the much sought after Colombian forward.

“Who would not want a player that good?” he asked reporters. “We all hope that he can play with us.

“If that happened, we could really start building for the future.

“I do not think the problem is an economic one for us. But he has a contract at Atletico.

“My objective for Monaco is to make the Champions League – and I do not see why that can’t happen next season.”
