Ronaldo hits back at Mourinho

Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to Jose Mourinho’s implicit criticism of him recently.

Mourinho had suggested that the Real Madrid forward was not as good as the Brazilian striker of the same name, when talking to ESPN.

Ronaldo responded with significantly more class than his former coach showed however when he gave his riposte, ahead of a potentially spicy affair between Mourinho’s Chelsea and Real in a friendly.

Real Madrid’s players loathed Mourinho’s ways and will be determined to get one over on the Portuguese.

“I prefer to remember the good things from coaches. I don’t spit on the plate from which I eat and I don’t speak about people who say bad things about me,” said Ronaldo.

“We are going to face Chelsea, not their coach. It is another warm-up game and we hope to win it so we can start La Liga in the best manner possible.”
