Sahin defends Madrid record

Nuri Sahin has defended himself from accusations that he was a flop at Real Madrid.

The Turkish international maintains he made a contribution to the team despite being given few opportunities.

“It was an honour to work with Jose Mourinho”, he told SPOX. “People can say that I flopped abroad, but that time really made me mentally stronger because it is not easy. I also made a contribution.”
