Scolari pleased with Brazil progress

Luiz Felipe Scolari said that Brazil have “definitely progressed” after their 2-2 draw with Italy.

The draw marked Scolari’s second match in charge in his second spell at the head of the Selecao, after a defeat to England.

“I think we have definitely progressed. I liked the way the team performed. We didn’t get desperate when they equalised and I thought they (Brazil’s players) did very well.”
