Simeone urges Man Utd and Arsenal target to stay

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has urged sought-after midfielder Saul Niguez to stay at the club.

Reports have recently linked with the 21-year-old with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.

Niguez has reportedly also rejected an improved contract offer from Atletico Madrid.

When asked about bids for the young midfielder Simeone said: “That depends on the club. Our interest in is trying to make players the best they can be.

“I think it would be premature for Saul to leave because he’s young and to continue growing as a player there is nowhere better than his home – Atletico.”
