Spain win Confederations Cup opener

Spain beat Uruguay in their opening game of the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

The European and World champions were completely dominant and led through Pedro’s fierce early strike. Roberto Soldado then doubled the lead.

Luis Suarez struck a late free kick to make the scoreline more respectable for Uruguay.
