Spartak Moscow ready to listen to offers for McGeady

Russian giants Spartak Moscow are prepared to listen to offers for former Celtic star Aiden McGeady in the winter.

McGeady joined Spartak Moscow in a big-money move from Scottish giants Celtic in 2010.

The winger’s contract with Spartak Moscow is set to expire at the end of the season and he has been strongly linked with a return to Britain.

“The club is willing to discuss a new contract for Aiden at any time,” said Spartak Moscow general director Roman Askhabadze in the Daily Record.

“But if we get a good offer this winter, we would be willing to consider it.”
