Udinese looking to beat Man Utd in race for Brazilian wonderkid

Udinese are looking to beat Manchester United to the signing of Desportivo Brasil youngster Bruno Gomes.

The Italian side are keen to sign the 17-year-old striker as a possible replacement for Luis Muriel.

Gomes was expected to join United when he turned 18-years-old, but the Daily Express reports that the Red Devils now face competition from Udinese in the race to sign the striker.

Reports claim David Moyes is less convinced by Gomes than former manager Sir Alex Ferguson was.
