UEFA back Blatter

Sepp Blatter looks increasingly likely to win re-election as FIFA President after being backed by UEFA.

Blatter has won the support of South America as well as seen his rival Mohamed bin Hammam denied a visa to speak to CONCACAF.

Michel Platini is rumoured to be set to takeover from Blatter after the end of the next four year cycle, and so Europe seems more willing to stick with what they have in the short term in order for long term gain.
