Messi struck the 86th goal of 2012 to break the record for goals in a calendar year last night against Real Betis.
“It seems impossible that he (Messi) can score that quantity of goals in a year but there are three matches left and we hope he keeps increasing his tally,” Barca coach Vilanova said.
“We hope he has a long way to go in his career because he is very young. I don’t think we will see another player like him.”
