Villas Boas calms Barcelona talk

Andre Villas Boas has played down reports that he could be the next Barcelona coach.

With Tito Vilanova forced to resign from the Catalan giants due to ill health, a vacancy has cropped up with most big managerial changes already completed for the summer.

“It’s a difficult situation,” Villas-Boas told Sky Sports News.

“At this time, all my wishes are with Tito. If he has to resign over illness, it’s not the time to speak about speculation. We’re speaking about a person’s health, it’s not even a question.”
