Villas Boas praises Guardiola legacy

Andre Villa Boas has hailed the impact Pep Guardiola has had on both Barcelona and football in general.

Villas Boas has heaped praise on the widely acclaimed Guardiola, the most sought after coach in the game at present.

“Guardiola created a brand,” he told Expresso. “Respect for the game, for beautiful football, a philosophy, a culture.

“The legacy he has left in Spanish football is extraordinary. The Barca game is slow and yet fast at the same time. They always seem to make the right decisions.

“Working with Jose Mourinho was the best schooling I could have had. He added to my growth as a coach.”
