Villas Boas refuses to blame Europe for Spurs troubles

Andre Villas Boas is refusing to blame Tottenham’s Europa League adventure for their recent slump.

Having been in a rich vein of form and third in the league, Tottenham’s top four place is now in doubt after losing three games in a row.

“We had fresh legs on the pitch as you could see,” Villas-Boas said after the 1-0 defeat at home to Fulham on Sunday. “We rotated the squad.”
