The winger had been linked with a move away after Arsenal revealed contract talks had stalled with just a year left on the Englishman’s contract.
But the Telegraph yesterday reported that Walcott spoke with Arsene Wenger, and although no agreement on a contract was reached, a decision had been made that the player would stay at the Emirates.
