Wenger disappointed at red card

Arsene Wenger criticised the referee on Saturday for giving a penalty to Man Utd and sending off Jack Wilshere.

Wenger said that he felt both decisions were wrong and that the referee had made a mistake.

“It was not deserved,” said Wenger. “I will need to see it again but it did not look to me like he went over the ball on purpose. His game is commitment and he went for the ball.”
