Walcott’s indecision and delay is provoked by his desire to play as a centre forward, and with just half a year left on his contract he could leave Arsenal for free at the end of the season.
“If you ask me will we sell Theo in January? No. I am frustrated, honestly. I have always been hopeful he will sign,” said Wenger.
“Between the player and me it is all clear, he knows what he wants and he has to make up his mind. The negotiations have been going on a long, long time.”
