Wenger shrugs off critics

Arsene Wenger rounded on his critics during his pre-match press conference ahead of today’s game with Olympiakos.

Arsenal are resting a number of players for the final Champions League match as they seek to get their domestic campaign back on track.

“I can take a distance with things when it goes well and when it goes less well,” Wenger said. “I don’t believe I am the king of the world when it goes very well nor that I am the worst manager in the world when it doesn’t go well.”
